Remodeling Pro Tips
There are so many things we have learned from our remodels. here are a couple of great pointers to consider before starting a kitchen remodel.
- Consider remodeling in phases. It can be hard to be without a kitchen for a long time. Break down your kitchen remodel into chunks to accomplish easily over time. It make take longer, but it can help save your sanity throughout the process.
- Create an Inspiration File. I like to do this when looking through magazines, or even better when surfing the internet or pursing Pinterest. Create a Kitchen Remodel board and save all of your ideas in one place. P.S. Follow us on Pinterest for more great ideas.
- Decide what you can DIY and what you need to hire out. As we mentioned before doing some of the kitchen remodel work yourself can save you money overall. If you can do demo, great. Find what skills you feel are easily done by and then research hiring out the rest.

Lorene has been behind the scenes here at Remodelaholic for more than a decade! She believes that planning projects and actually completing them are two different hobbies, but that doesn't stop her from planning at least a dozen projects at any given time. She spends her free time creating memories with her husband and 5 kids, traveling as far as she can afford, and partaking of books in any form available.
Those were some great kitchens! Someday…sigh!
Thanks for hosting the party!
