Remodelaholic in Review: November 2018
Hello Remodelaholics! Can you believe it’s the last month of the year! I can hardly believe it went by so fast! That’s what we think every year though right? I feel like time speeds up as an adult and the years are definitely passing quicker than they used to. Oh to be a child again! How many of you are going to be gifting DIY projects for Christmas? Hand-made/home-made were some of my most favorite gifts growing up. My grandpa loved woodworking so I remember getting book shelves and picture frames, and he would do it for all the grandkids, around 20 of us! If you create any, tag us with #imaremodelaholic on instagram, email them to us at hello@remodelaholic.com or message us on Facebook, you can always send us a photo here, too. We are always so inspired by you!
This month Cassity and Justin shared so many useful and fun DIY projects that they have been working on around thier home. They shared The Quickest and Easiest Way to Hang Shelves and Hooks for a Family Organization Center. I absolutely love the way it turned out! They made it look so simple and easy putting it all together! I am wanting to try it in my home now! I love that they put it in their office, I think that it would look fabulous by an entryway as well!
My husband and I were very grateful for this Thanksgiving hack that they shared: How to Hack a Bigger Dining Table for Thanksgiving. Currently we only have a table that seats four! Can you believe that? So when we have family gatherings at our house, this is going to come in mighty handy! Did you check it out and use it on Thanksgiving? You will have to let us know how it worked for you!
Another useful project that Justin shared is a 10 Minute Update! Leviton USB Charging Outlet/Tamper Resistant Outlet. We have been wanting some of these in our home but had no idea it could be done so quickly and so easily! Definitely a post worth checking out, and maybe mention to your spouse that this would be a terrific gift idea for you. You may wake up Christmas morning with the outlets of your dreams.
