Budget Porches, Patios, and Entryways

Hi, Remodelaholics!  It’s Ruth from A House in Holland, back to join Cassity again.  Today, I get to kick off an exciting new event here at Remodelaholic, this month’s Home Sweet Home on a Budget Linkup!

 I have a soft spot for retro doors…and for turquoise.  So I’m smitten with the combination of the two at In Between Laundry.

This front porch spotted at Apartment Therapy features an eye-catching door painted in a bright citrus orange.  It looks especially nice against the gray porch.

Yellow is such a friendly color!  It’s perfect for a door.  The details on this mid-century modern entryway at shown at HGTV’s Design Happens are just too good–can you spot the greeting embossed on the side window?

It doesn’t only have to be the outside of a door that has all the fun, as proved by The House of Smiths.   They painted the inside of their front door, and it created a much more interesting entryway.
