Hallway Art Display
party highlight by Dream Home DIY

Hallway paint now officially complete, it was time to DECORATE.
And we knew right away that teal and cream would act as perfect accent colors to our gray/brown walls.

While Justin seems to adore the style,
I am not particularly drawn to the “tin ceiling” looking wall art,
for no other reason than their always dark coloring.
With that said, the texture, lines and ridges found on them are to die for.
So unique and homey.

And here is where those lovely Hobby Lobby art pieces come out to play.

In addition, we were gifted this great H-O-M-E sign that would also be receiving a transformation of it’s very own.

Supplies Needed:
1. Always trusty, go-to color Rustoleum Satin Almond
2.  Glidden Totally Teal (I love this color.  Trust me, you will soon see it everywherethroughout our house)
3.  Valspar in Mocha
4.  Foam Brushes
5.  Old Rag
6.  Tiny Paint Brush

First I painted the HOME sign and two of the Hobby Lobby squares in Totally Teal.
(Using the foam brushes)
The third Hobby Lobby piece was sprayed Almond.

Next, utilizing the same glob, rub, blot, smoosh, swirl technique used when glazing the Halloween busts,
Valspar Mocha was applied…

…And everything was hung in their brand new resting places…
